Ruijie Networks Co Ltd is a networking equipment manufacturer headquartered in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. The company serves enterprise, education, and service provider markets with switches, routers, and access points. Through its Reyee sub-brand, Ruijie targets the consumer and small-medium business segments with affordable networking products managed through Ruijie Cloud.

How to Login to Your Ruijie Router

Ruijie routers use 192.168.110.1 as the default IP address, which is very unusual compared to the 192.168.1.1 standard used by most brands. Open a browser on a device connected to the Ruijie network and enter this address in the address bar. The login page loads with username and password fields.

Enter admin for both the username and password. These are the factory defaults on most Ruijie and Reyee devices. Some newer Reyee models skip the default credentials and ask you to create a password during the first setup wizard instead.

The admin panel displays network status, connected devices, and wireless information. Reyee consumer models use a simplified visual dashboard while enterprise Ruijie models have a more technical layout.

Setting Up a Ruijie Router

Connect the WAN port on the Ruijie router to your modem or ISP optical network terminal using an Ethernet cable. This port is labeled and separated from the LAN ports. Plug in the power adapter and wait for the status LED to become steady.

Step 1: Connect a computer or phone to the Ruijie network. Use an Ethernet cable to a LAN port or connect to the default Wi-Fi network. The default SSID is typically printed on the device label.

Step 2: Open a browser and go to 192.168.110.1. Log in with admin/admin or follow the setup wizard if the device prompts you to create credentials.

Step 3: The wizard detects your internet connection type. Select DHCP for most fiber and cable connections, PPPoE if your ISP requires authentication, or static IP for fixed addressing. Enter ISP credentials where required.

Step 4: Configure the wireless network name and password. Dual-band models allow separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. WiFi 6 models like the RG-EW1800GX Pro support 160 MHz channel width on the 5 GHz band for maximum throughput.

Step 5: Apply the settings and wait for the router to finalize configuration. The device may reboot once. Reconnect to the newly configured Wi-Fi network.

Changing Your Ruijie Wi-Fi Password

Log into the admin panel at 192.168.110.1. Go to Wi-Fi Settings or Wireless from the main menu (the label varies between Reyee consumer and Ruijie enterprise interfaces).

Select the frequency band you want to update. Change the password field to your new Wi-Fi password. Select WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE as the security mode. Click Save or Apply to activate the change.

All connected wireless devices disconnect and must reconnect using the new credentials. For mesh setups with multiple Reyee units, the password change propagates to all mesh nodes automatically.

Ruijie Cloud and Reyee Ecosystem

Ruijie Cloud is the management platform that unifies configuration and monitoring across all Ruijie and Reyee devices.

Cloud-based management. Register devices in Ruijie Cloud by scanning the QR code or entering the serial number. Once registered, configure network settings, push firmware updates, and monitor bandwidth remotely through the web portal or the Reyee Router mobile app.

Mesh networking. Reyee mesh-capable models like the RG-E5 support seamless roaming across multiple units. The system uses a single SSID across all nodes with automatic band and node steering.

Ceiling-mount access points. The RG-RAP series includes ceiling and wall-mount access points for offices, hotels, and retail spaces. These devices support Power over Ethernet, eliminating the need for power outlets at each mounting location.

ISP deployment in Southeast Asia. Ruijie has gained traction with ISPs in the region. TIME Malaysia distributes Ruijie routers to fiber subscribers, and similar partnerships exist in Thailand and Indonesia. This has made Ruijie a common brand in Southeast Asian households.

Troubleshooting Ruijie Router Login

1. Cannot reach 192.168.110.1 in a browser. Verify your device is connected to the Ruijie network and has an IP address in the 192.168.110.x range. This is an unusual subnet, so typing 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 out of habit will not work. Check your default gateway by running ipconfig on Windows.

2. Admin password rejected with admin/admin. The password was changed by the user or pre-configured by the ISP. For ISP-supplied routers, check the label for custom credentials or contact your ISP. If you set the password yourself and have forgotten it, perform a factory reset on the router by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.

3. Internet connected but speeds are much slower than expected. Check the connection speed in the admin panel. Verify the Ethernet cable between the modem and the router supports gigabit speeds (Cat 5e or higher). On WiFi 6 models, enable 160 MHz channel width in the wireless settings if your devices support it.

4. Ruijie Cloud shows device offline despite local access working. The router needs internet access to communicate with Ruijie Cloud. Verify the internet connection is active and DNS resolution works. Some corporate firewalls block cloud management traffic; ensure outbound HTTPS is not restricted.

5. Mesh node fails to join the network. Place the new mesh node within 5 meters of the primary router during initial pairing. Ensure both devices run the same firmware version. If pairing fails, factory reset the mesh node and try the process again through the Reyee Router app or the Ruijie Cloud portal.
