Router Login URLs
Many routers can be accessed via a branded URL instead of an IP address. Find your router's login URL below.
Most major router brands provide a branded URL that works as an alternative to typing the IP address. TP-Link uses tplinkwifi.net, Netgear uses routerlogin.net, ASUS uses router.asus.com, and FRITZ!Box uses fritz.box. Typing any of these into your browser does the same thing as entering the router's IP address -- it opens the admin panel login page.
Branded URLs exist because they're easier to remember than a numeric IP address and they work even if the router's IP changes. Your router runs a local DNS resolver that maps these hostnames to its own address. The URL is printed on the router's label alongside the default credentials, making first-time setup straightforward for non-technical users.
When should you use the IP address instead? If the branded URL doesn't resolve -- which happens when your DNS settings point to a third-party resolver like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8) instead of your router -- fall back to the numeric IP address. The IP always works as long as you're on the same network. Check our find your router IP guide if you're not sure which address to use.
