PLDT Router Login
192.168.1.1
PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company) is the largest ISP in the Philippines. Most PLDT routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway with a common default password of 1234567890. This guide covers login steps and configuration for PLDT Home Fibr routers.
How to Login to Your PLDT Router
PLDT, operated by PLDT Inc. (formerly Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company), is the largest broadband provider in the Philippines. To access your PLDT router admin panel, connect to your PLDT network via Wi-Fi or a LAN cable. Open a browser and type the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
The login page will appear. Enter admin as the username and 1234567890 as the password. This is the most common default across PLDT-supplied routers. If that does not work, try admin as both username and password.
PLDT Home Fibr is the company’s fiber broadband service, available in Metro Manila and expanding to provinces. All models use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway IP address.
If the login page does not load, confirm you are on the PLDT network. Type http://192.168.1.1 with the prefix. A LAN cable connection is more reliable than Wi-Fi for admin access.
PLDT Router Models and Default Settings
PLDT has deployed a range of ONT and router models across its subscriber base. Here are the common ones:
| Router Model | Default IP | Username | Password | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fiberhome AN5506-04-FA | 192.168.1.1 | admin | 1234567890 | Most common model |
| Fiberhome AN5506-04-F2 | 192.168.1.1 | admin | 1234567890 | Updated version |
| Huawei HG8145V5 | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin or 1234567890 | Newer installations |
| Huawei EG8145V5 | 192.168.1.1 | admin | On router label | Premium plans |
| ZTE F670L | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin or 1234567890 | Selected areas |
The Fiberhome AN5506 series dominates PLDT’s network. These combined ONT and router units handle the fiber connection and Wi-Fi in one box. PLDT’s parent company, PLDT Inc., has started rolling out Huawei units for higher-tier plans.

Changing Your PLDT Wi-Fi Password
PLDT Home Fibr subscribers should change the default Wi-Fi password immediately after installation, since 1234567890 is widely known. Here is the process for the Fiberhome AN5506, the most common PLDT router.
Log in at 192.168.1.1. Click Network in the top menu, then WLAN or Wireless Settings. Select the SSID Configuration tab.
Find the SSID entry (usually PLDTHOMEFIBR followed by random characters). Change the SSID Name to your preferred name. In the WPA PreSharedKey field, type your new password.
Use at least 12 characters. Avoid your birthday, phone number, or barangay name.
Click Apply. All devices will disconnect and need to reconnect with the new credentials. Change passwords on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.

Using Your Own Router with PLDT Home Fibr
PLDT allows you to use your own router behind the supplied ONT. The PLDT device handles the fiber authentication, so your personal router just needs to handle routing and Wi-Fi.
Option 1: Double NAT (simple). Keep the PLDT router connected and working. Plug your own router’s WAN port into a LAN port on the PLDT router. Set your router’s WAN to DHCP. This creates a double NAT, which is fine for basic browsing and streaming. Gaming or hosting servers may have issues with double NAT.
Option 2: Bridge mode (recommended). Log in at 192.168.1.1 on the PLDT router. Look for WAN Connection or Internet Settings. Change the connection type from Route to Bridge. Save and restart. Connect your router’s WAN port to the PLDT router’s LAN port 1. Set WAN to PPPoE if required or DHCP depending on the configuration.
PLDT sometimes restricts bridge mode access on the admin panel. If the option is grayed out, you may need the adminpldt superuser account. The password varies by model and firmware version.
Troubleshooting PLDT Router Issues
Here are the most common PLDT router problems and how to fix them.
-
Login page does not load. Make sure you are on the PLDT network, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Try a LAN cable connection. Reset the router as a last resort.
-
Password rejected. PLDT technicians sometimes change the default 1234567890 password. Try admin/admin as an alternative. On Huawei models, try adminpldt as the username. A factory reset restores defaults.
-
Connected but no internet. Power cycle the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Check that the fiber cable is firmly connected. If the internet does not return, call PLDT at 171 or report through the MyPLDT app.
-
Slow Wi-Fi speeds. Test with a wired connection first. If wired speed matches your plan, Wi-Fi is the bottleneck. PLDT Fiberhome routers have limited range in concrete Philippine homes. Position the router centrally. Adding a third-party router or mesh system solves most coverage problems.
-
Red LOS light. A red LOS light means the fiber line has a problem. Check the fiber cable from the wall outlet to the device. Do not bend fiber cables. Report the issue to PLDT at 171 or through the MyPLDT app.
-
Internet drops during rain. Common in areas where PLDT uses older aerial fiber cables. Water affects splice points and connectors. Report repeated rain-related outages to PLDT.
