IndiHome Router Login
192.168.1.1
IndiHome is Indonesia's largest fibre broadband service with over 10 million subscribers. Most IndiHome routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway with admin as the default username. This guide covers login steps, default passwords, and configuration for IndiHome-supplied ONT routers.
IndiHome is a fibre-to-the-home broadband service operated by PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, the state-owned telecommunications company. With over 10 million active subscribers across the Indonesian archipelago, the service is the largest residential broadband provider in the country. IndiHome Fiber bundles internet access with IPTV through UseeTV and a landline telephone connection, making it a triple-play offering available in most provinces.
How to Login to Your IndiHome Router
To access the IndiHome router admin panel, connect to your home network through Wi-Fi or a LAN cable plugged into one of the device’s LAN ports. Open a browser and type the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
The login page will appear. Enter admin as the username and admin as the password. If that combination does not work, the installation technician may have changed the credentials. Try user as the username with user as the password on Huawei models. Another common pattern is admin with a password like Telkom021 or Telkom followed by your local area code.
Check the sticker on the bottom or back of the ONT device for printed credentials. If no combination works, a factory reset restores defaults.
Router Models and Default Settings
The provider has deployed several ONT models across its nationwide network. The model you receive depends on your location and installation date. These are the 5 most common units.
| Router Model | Default IP | Username | Password | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Huawei HG8245H5 | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin | Most widely deployed model |
| ZTE F609 | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin | Older installations |
| ZTE F670L | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin | Newer rollout since 2023 |
| Fiberhome AN5506-04-FA | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin | Selected regions |
| Huawei HG8245H | 192.168.1.1 | admin | admin or on label | Legacy model |
The Huawei HG8245H5 dominates the network and serves as a combined ONT and wireless router. All models listed above use the same default IP address and function as gateway devices that handle both the fibre connection and Wi-Fi distribution in a single unit.

Changing Your Wi-Fi Password
Subscribers should change the default Wi-Fi password after installation. The default SSID is often set to the provider name followed by a random string. Below are the steps for the Huawei HG8245H5, the most common model.
Log in at 192.168.1.1 with your admin credentials. Go to WLAN in the top menu. Select SSID Name Settings to change your network name. Then go to WLAN Security or WLAN Encryption.
In the WPA PreSharedKey field, enter your new password. Use at least 12 characters with a mix of letters and numbers. Avoid your phone number or birth date.
Click Apply. Every connected device will disconnect and must rejoin with the new credentials. Repeat for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands if your model broadcasts both.

Using Your Own Router
The service uses PPPoE for authentication, which means connecting your own router requires the PPPoE credentials assigned to your account. This is different from ISPs that use DHCP.
Option 1: Double NAT (simple). Keep the ONT connected and working. Plug your own router’s WAN port into a LAN port on the ONT. Set your router’s WAN type to DHCP. The ONT handles PPPoE and your router sits behind it. This creates a double NAT that works for browsing and streaming but may cause issues with gaming or VPN.
Option 2: Bridge mode. Log in at 192.168.1.1 on the ONT. Find the WAN configuration and change the connection type from Route to Bridge. Connect your router’s WAN port to the ONT’s LAN port 1. Configure your router with PPPoE and enter the credentials from your account. Call 147 to request them if needed.
Disable Wi-Fi on the ONT after switching to your own router to avoid interference.
Troubleshooting Router Issues
-
Login page does not load. Confirm you are connected to the home network, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 with the full prefix. Use a LAN cable for a more reliable connection. If the page still does not appear, reset the router by holding the reset button for 15 seconds.
-
Admin password rejected. Technicians frequently change the default password. Try Telkom followed by your city area code (such as Telkom021 for Jakarta or Telkom031 for Surabaya). A factory reset restores the default credentials.
-
Connected but no internet. Power cycle the ONT by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Verify the fibre cable is firmly connected. Check that the PON and LOS lights are solid green. Call 147 to report an outage if the problem persists.
-
UseeTV not working but internet is fine. The IPTV service runs on a separate VLAN. A factory reset may have removed the IPTV settings. Contact the provider at 147 to restore the IPTV configuration remotely.
-
Slow Wi-Fi speeds. Test with a LAN cable first. If wired speeds match your plan (20 Mbps, 30 Mbps, or 50 Mbps depending on subscription), the bottleneck is wireless. Reposition the ONT away from walls and metal objects. The 5 GHz band delivers faster speeds at shorter range.
