Celcom Router Login
192.168.8.1
CelcomDigi supplies three WiFi 6 fibre routers: ZYXEL EX3300-T0 (192.168.50.1), TP-Link EX510 (192.168.1.1, customer/celcomdigi123), and TP-Link EX820 (192.168.1.1). For 5G Home WiFi, the Brovi H162-383 (WiFi 7) and Tozed X100M Pro are the current devices.
How to Login to Your CelcomDigi Router
CelcomDigi, operated by CelcomDigi Berhad, supplies three types of equipment: WiFi 6 fibre routers, 5G Home WiFi CPE devices, and legacy fibre ONTs.
New WiFi 6 fibre routers (2024+): The IP address depends on the model. Connect to your CelcomDigi Wi-Fi or plug a LAN cable into one of the router’s LAN ports. For the ZYXEL EX3300-T0, go to 192.168.50.1 and use the credentials on the device label. For the TP-Link EX510 or EX820, go to 192.168.1.1 and enter username customer and password celcomdigi123.
5G Home WiFi CPE devices: The Brovi H162-383 and Tozed X100M Pro use 192.168.8.1 as the default IP address. Enter admin and the password from the device label.
Legacy fibre routers (ZTE F670L/F680): Go to 192.168.0.1 and enter admin/admin.
If none of these IP addresses work, open a command prompt and type ipconfig. Look for the Default Gateway entry.

The TP-Link models use the standard TP-Link default of 192.168.1.1 but with CelcomDigi-specific credentials (customer/celcomdigi123 instead of admin/admin). All new fibre subscribers receive one of these WiFi 6 routers. Plans at 500Mbps and above include a free mesh node. The ASUS ZenWiFi BT8 (WiFi 7, RM39/month) is available as a premium mesh add-on for CelcomDigi Fibre subscribers.
Changing Your CelcomDigi Wi-Fi Password
CelcomDigi router password changes depend on your device model.

CelcomDigi 5G Home WiFi Plans
The provider offers two 5G Home WiFi plans for areas without fibre coverage or for renters who cannot install a fixed line.
| Plan | Price | Speed | Data | Device | Devices |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | RM109/month | Uncapped 5G | Unlimited | Brovi H162-383 (WiFi 7) | 128 |

Both plans include 24-month Viu Premium (worth RM526) and require a 24-month contract. The Brovi H162-383 is a Huawei sub-brand device with WiFi 7 and AI-powered network optimization. The Tozed X100M Pro is a compact, lightweight unit better suited for individuals or small rooms. The TP-Link NX510v is available as an alternative device subject to stock.
CelcomDigi 4G/5G Home Wireless Setup Tips
The provider’s 4G/5G CPE devices are popular in areas without fibre coverage. Placement matters more than anything else with these units.
Optimal placement: Put the CPE near a window facing the nearest cell tower. Higher floors get better signal. The device status page at 192.168.8.1 shows signal strength bars and exact RSRP/RSRQ values. Aim for RSRP above -90 dBm for decent speeds.
External antennas: The Huawei B535 and B628 have two SMA ports on the back for external antennas. A cheap RM50-80 outdoor panel antenna can dramatically improve speeds if your indoor signal is weak. Point it toward the tower. Use the OpenSignal app to find the nearest one.
Band locking: Advanced users can lock the CPE to a specific LTE band for more consistent speeds. On Huawei devices, dial *#*#2846579#*#* in the phone input on the admin page, or use the Huawei band tool. Band 3 (1800MHz) and Band 7 (2600MHz) usually give the best speeds in urban Malaysia.
Troubleshooting CelcomDigi Connection Issues
Here are the most common CelcomDigi router problems and how to fix them.
-
Login page does not load. Confirm your device is connected to the CelcomDigi network, not mobile data. Try both 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.8.1 depending on your device type. Use the http:// prefix explicitly. Connect a cable to the router’s LAN port and check the gateway from there.
-
Password rejected. Try the default credentials on the router label first. If you had a Celcom or Digi account before the merger, your router credentials should stay the same. The merger does not change local router passwords. If you still cannot log in, factory reset the device by holding the reset button for 10-15 seconds.
-
Slow 4G/5G speeds. Check signal strength in the admin panel. Move the CPE closer to a window. Avoid placing it near metal objects, fridges, or thick concrete walls. Try different positions and compare speeds at each spot, since even small changes in placement can double your throughput.
-
Fibre connection drops. Restart the ONT and router. Unplug both for 30 seconds, plug in the ONT first, wait 2 minutes, then plug in the router. If the PON/LOS light on the ONT is red, the fibre line has a physical issue. Contact CelcomDigi at 1111.
-
Wi-Fi drops in some rooms. The router’s range may not cover your home. Consider a mesh system or Wi-Fi extender. Place the router away from walls, metal objects, and microwave ovens. Switch to the 5GHz band for faster speeds at shorter range.
